Christine Moriello grew up on a fourth generation apple farm in the Hudson Valley of New York. She spent countless hours amongst the fields and trees as a child. As a teen, she photographed her friends and experiences with a disposable camera, and tucked journals full of poetry away in the corner of her bedroom. It is that quiet introspection and poeticism she’s had since she was a child that inspires her work.

Christine received her Bachelor of Arts in History at Mount Saint Mary College and has a Professional Certificate in Visual Storytelling from Maine Media College.

After exploring and living in the state of Maine for a number of years, Christine has returned home to the Hudson Valley apple farm that first inspired her. She is currently living and working in New Paltz, NY with her golden retriever Violet.
